Create Your Own Holiday Ornaments!

Service Description

Join us for a hands-on class where you'll transform clay into beautiful, custom-made ceramic ornaments. Perfect to decorate for the holidays or give as gifts! Each student will be given a slab of clay to make approximately 5-8 magnets (this amount may vary depending on the complexity of your pieces). You'll have the option to choose from pre-made clay cutters or design your own unique shapes, giving you the opportunity to express your individuality. If you desire an extra touch of elegance, you can experiment with slip trailing, stamping or carving techniques to add intricate details. To make your magnets truly special, you’ll select a finishing glaze from our range of studio glazes. Our instructor will complete the glazing process for you and will then add a magnet to the backs to complete your pieces. You will be notified as soon as your creations are complete just in time for the holidays! Note: While we can’t guarantee the quality and success of the pieces you make in this class, instructors will do their best to guide you through the process. No matter what you make, it’s sure to be a memorable experience! Requirements: For beginners. No experience required. Age 7+

Cancellation Policy

Bookings for classes, workshops, events, and private lessons which are canceled 7 calendar days or more prior to the class or event will receive a full refund. Any cancellations received 7-3 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Any and all cancellations 2 days or less before the class/course are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations which are at least 24 hours prior to the class may transfer their booking to another applicable date or find a substitute student to take their place. If you need to cancel after the 7 day window, please contact the store. Wooten Clayworks cannot reschedule with less than 24 hours notice due to the inability to fill the space that was taken from another potential student. Please note there is a 2 student minimum for classes to run. Students will be notified the day prior if the class has to be cancelled and will receive a full refund.
